Delete an AI Agent
To delete an AI Agent in MagicBlocks, you must first pause the Agent, then confirm the deletion from the Agent detail panel.
Overview
Deleting an AI Agent permanently removes it from your workspace. Once deleted, the Agent and its configuration cannot be recovered.
For safety, MagicBlocks requires the Agent to be paused first before deletion. This prevents accidental removal of active Agents that may still be handling conversations or collecting contacts.
When to Use
Delete an AI Agent when:
- You created a test Agent that you no longer need
- You are replacing an Agent with a new version
- You want to clean up unused Agents in your workspace
- A campaign or project using that Agent has ended
If the Agent is still active, you must pause it first before the Delete option becomes available.
How It Works / Steps
Step 1 — Open the Agents Page
Click Agents in the left sidebar of your MagicBlocks workspace.
Step 2 — View the Agent Details
Hover over the Agent you want to delete and click View Detail on the right panel of the Agent.
This opens the Agent’s detail panel.
Step 3 — Pause the Agent
In the detail panel:
- Click the Pause toggle
- Confirm by clicking Pause
Wait until the system shows a Pause success notification and confirm the Status displays "Paused."
Step 4 — Delete the Agent
Once the Agent is paused:
- Click the Delete button in the detail panel
- A confirmation dialog will appear:
"This selected Agent will be deleted."
Click Delete to confirm.
Step 5 — Deletion Complete
After confirmation, the system removes the Agent from your workspace.
You will see the confirmation message:
"Agent deleted."
✅ The AI Agent is now permanently removed.
