Actions
Actions are what your AI does when certain conditions are met. Think of them as the “if this, then that” logic that drives your conversational journey forward.
Example: If a Key Fact is collected (e.g., Wants a Consultation = Yes), then the AI can trigger an Action like switching to a data collection block and collection information of the leads.
Types of Actions
You can choose from several predefined actions:
| Action Type | What It Does |
|---|---|
Auto | Will generate a message using the persona settings from the block to start or continue the conversation. |
Switch Journey | This will direct your AI to switch journey blocks and start down a different conversation path or goal. |
End Chat | This is the message that will end the interaction with the end user. |
Send Message | This will direct your AI to send a message to the end user. |
Run Task | This will direct your AI to follow a specific set of instructions if a condition has been met. |
Add Buttons | Adds button for user input. |
Add Forms | Direct your AI to collect end user info via a form. |
Add Calendar | Connect your calendar to let your AI schedule, manage, and sync events effortlessly. You can connect Calendly, Hubspot, HighLevel and Google Calendar. |
Add Link | Shares a clickable link with the user. |
Embed Action | Connect with more people by adding popular tools to your platform. |
Don’t Respond | No action. |
Conditions (When to Trigger)
You can add Conditions that determine when an action should run.
For example:
- Key Fact → Wants a Consultation = “Yes”
- User Message Contains → “Schedule”
- Sentiment → “Positive”
Conditions allow your AI to respond dynamically based on what it knows about the user.
Goals (Tracking Outcomes). Each action can also contribute toward a Goal.
For instance:
- Meeting Booked ($50 value)
- Lead captured
- Human handover
You can assign a Goal value (e.g., $50) to measure ROI and track your AI’s performance over time.
