Agents
Your Agent is the heart of MagicBlocks — it’s the AI that greets your visitors, answers questions, captures leads, and guides them toward conversion 24/7.
An Agent combines personality, knowledge, and logic to create natural, human-like sales conversations.
You can build, test, and launch your Agent entirely from the MagicBlocks Studio — no coding required.
An Agent in MagicBlocks is made up of several layers that work together:
Layer | Description | Found in Studio |
|---|---|---|
Persona | Defines your Agent’s name, tone, and voice. | General → Persona |
Key Facts | Key data your Agent should always reference (e.g., pricing, contact info). | General → Key Facts |
Brain | The long-term knowledge base that your Agent pulls answers from. | Left sidebar → Brain |
Journey | The structured conversation flow that shapes the user experience. | Left sidebar → Journey |
Actions | Logic and integrations that help your Agent collect leads or trigger workflows. | General → Actions |
Guardrails | Rules that define what your Agent should and shouldn’t say. | General → Guardrails |
How It Works
When a visitor starts a conversation, your Agent follows a simple but powerful process:
- Greets and Hooks — Opens with a warm, contextual greeting to capture attention.
- Aligns and Personalizes — Asks smart questions to understand needs.
- Recommends or Acts — Provides relevant information or triggers an Action (like sending a lead form).
- Transfers or Closes — Hands off qualified leads via Lead Transfer or closes the conversation gracefully.
Your Agent’s tone, knowledge, and logic all come from what you set under General, Brain, and Journey.
Example Setup
Scenario: You’re building a sales Agent for your website.
Set Persona — Name your Agent “Mia” and choose a friendly, confident tone.
Add Key Facts — Business name, service list, office hours.
Upload to Brain — Add your pricing guide and FAQ PDF.
Create Journey Blocks —
- Hook: Welcome the visitor.
- Align: Ask what they’re looking for.
- Get in Touch: Collect their contact info.
Add Actions — Create a “Lead Capture” action connected to your CRM.
Test in “Try My Agent” — Chat with your AI to see how it performs.
Go Live — Embed the Agent on your site.
Best Practices
Keep Persona simple — Think of your Agent as a human rep with one clear personality type.
Add Key Facts first — These act as your Agent’s short-term memory.
Use Brain for depth — Upload documents or URLs for detailed answers.
Test often — Small tweaks to tone or questions can improve engagement dramatically.
Keep Journeys modular — You can reuse “Hook” or “Get in Touch” blocks across multiple Agents.
