FAQs

Q: What’s the purpose of the Measuring category in MagicBlocks?
The Measuring tools let you monitor how your AI Agent performs, track key metrics like conversions and user engagement, and identify opportunities for optimization.

Q: Which features are part of Measuring?

  • Dashboard: Overall performance metrics.
  • Sessions: Individual conversation analytics.
  • Google Analytics: Goal tracking and conversion attribution.
  • Webhooks on Goals: Real-time event delivery for external systems.

Q: How often is my data updated?
All metrics updated in real time. For integrations like Google Analytics, event syncing may take up to 24 hours.

Q: Do these tools measure performance across all channels?
Yes — MagicBlocks tracks AI performance across chat, email, SMS, and any integrated channels.

Dashboard

Q: What does the Dashboard measure?
It gives a snapshot of your AI’s performance, showing total sessions, active users, goal completions, conversion rates, and sentiment trends.

Q: Can I filter Dashboard data by date or channel?
Yes. Use filters to view performance for specific time ranges, agents, or channels.

Q: How can I tell if my AI is performing well?
Look for:

  • High Goal Completion Rate
  • Positive User Sentiment
  • Low Drop-off Sessions

If these are trending positively, your AI is driving meaningful engagement.

Q: Why do some metrics differ from my external analytics tools?
MagicBlocks data reflects real conversation activity, while third-party tools (like GA) may process or sample data differently.

Sessions

Q: What are Sessions in MagicBlocks?
Sessions represent complete user–AI conversations. You can review each session to understand how your AI handled messages, captured leads, or achieved goals.

Q: How do I access Sessions?
Click Sessions in the left-hand menu to view all user conversations. You can sort, filter, and inspect individual transcripts.

Q: What filters can I use on the Sessions page?
You can filter by Channel, Sentiment, Agent, Goal, Journey Block, Form, or Status.

Q: Can I replay or analyze how the AI decided what to say?
Yes — use the 🤖 Robot Head Icon within a session to open the AI Inspector, which shows the logic path, block triggers, and conditions that led to each response.

Q: Can I export session data?
Currently, you can copy transcript data manually or connect to your CRM through integrations or webhooks for automatic logging.

Google Analytics

Q: How does Google Analytics measure my AI’s performance?
Once connected, Google Analytics receives goal completion events (goal_completed) from MagicBlocks. You can then view and analyze them in your GA reports.

Q: Which data is sent to GA?

  • Goal name and value
  • Session ID and timestamp
  • Agent ID (if configured)

Q: Where can I see my AI goal completions in GA?
Go to Reports › Engagement › Events and search for goal_completed.

Q: How often do events appear in GA?
Events usually appear within minutes but can take up to 24 hours, depending on Google’s processing.

Q: Can I track multiple goals?
Yes — every Goal you create in MagicBlocks can be tied to its own Google Analytics event.

Q: What’s the difference between GA and MagicBlocks analytics?
MagicBlocks gives conversational context (what was said, user sentiment, drop-offs), while GA gives aggregate conversion and traffic insights. They work best together.

Webhooks on Goals

Q: What are Webhooks on Goals used for?
They send real-time event data (like goal completions or form submissions) from MagicBlocks to external systems — such as CRMs, BI dashboards, or automation tools.

Q: Which webhook events can I track?
You can select:

  • Lead updated
  • Session start
  • Session end
  • Form completed
  • Goal completed

Q: How do Webhooks differ from Google Analytics tracking?

Webhooks: Real-time, raw event delivery for integrations.

GA: Aggregated performance tracking for analytics and marketing.

Q: Where can I view webhook activity?
Go to Library › Webhooks › Webhook History to view all event logs, their statuses (Pending, Success, Retry, Error), and timestamps.

Q: What happens if an event fails to send?
MagicBlocks retries failed webhook deliveries up to 3 times. You can also manually retry from the History tab.

Q: Can I connect different systems for different goals?
Yes — create multiple webhooks and assign unique event types or endpoints to each.

Q: Can I measure webhook success rates?
Yes — in Webhook History, check the count of successful vs. failed deliveries to evaluate reliability.
