Glossary

Welcome to the MagicBlocks Glossary, your go-to reference for understanding the key terms used throughout the MagicBlocks platform.
Whether you're building your first AI Agent or exploring advanced automations, this glossary will help you navigate the platform confidently.

Agent

Your AI Agent is the heart of MagicBlocks — a conversational AI that engages your website visitors, qualifies leads, and guides them toward conversion. Each Agent can be customized with unique personas, knowledge, and actions to match your brand tone and business goals.

Conversation Flow (Blocks)

Blocks are modular sections that define how your AI Agent interacts with users. You can think of them as conversation steps — each block represents a mode, a message, or an action your Agent takes.

Knowledge/Brain

This is where your AI Agent learns what to say.
Add articles, FAQs, web pages, or documents that teach your Agent about your product, services, and customer queries.
Better knowledge = smarter responses.

Sales Playbook

Playbook — The selling brain of your AI Agent. While the Knowledge Base teaches what your AI knows, the Playbook teaches how it sells — highlighting benefits, handling objections, and driving action. It includes sections like Benefits, Objections, Social Proof, Emotional Drivers, and CTAs, turning your Agent from a responder into a closer.

Objective

The objective defines your Agent’s main purpose — for example, “qualify leads,” “book demos,” or “answer support questions.”
Every part of your conversation flow should align with this goal.

Persona

A Persona gives your AI Agent personality and tone.
You can define who your Agent is (friendly guide, expert consultant, energetic salesperson, etc.) and how it should speak to different audiences.

Actions

Actions (previously called “Directors”) tell your Agent what to do next.
For example: send data to a CRM, create a support ticket, or trigger a follow-up message.

Key Facts

These are important data points your Agent collects from users — such as name, email, company size, or intent.
They help personalize conversations and improve lead qualification.

Functions

Functions extend your Agent’s capabilities beyond chat — for example, checking user status, booking appointments, or creating tickets using Zapier or webhooks.

Dashboard

The Dashboard gives you insights into your AI Agent’s performance — sessions, goals, engagement rate, and conversion metrics — helping you optimize results.

Library

A central hub where you manage functions, plugins, and integrations.
Here, you can connect tools like Calendly, HubSpot, or Zapier to expand your Agent’s power.

Channels

Channels are where your Agent lives.
You can deploy MagicBlocks on your website, SMS, WhatsApp, or social DMs to engage users anywhere.

Journey

A Journey maps how your Agent guides users from “hello” to “conversion.”
It combines objectives, blocks, actions, and key facts into one cohesive experience.

Goals

Goals are measurable outcomes like “booked a demo” or “submitted a form.”
Tracking goals helps you evaluate your Agent’s impact on business results.

Workspace

Your Workspace is your main environment — where you manage Agents, data, team members, and integrations.
Each workspace can represent a different brand or business.

Leads

Leads are people who interact with your AI Agent.
You can view, sort, and qualify them based on the data collected during conversations.
