Personas

Personas define the personality, tone, and behavioral style of your AI Agent. They help shape how your AI communicates with users — whether it’s friendly and playful, formal and informative, or persuasive and sales-driven.

Creating personas allows you to customize each Agent’s voice and interaction style to better fit your brand identity or user expectations.

In MagicBlocks, a Persona acts as the “character” behind your AI Agent — controlling how it speaks, reacts, and handles different contexts.

Every Persona includes:

  • A Persona prompt (the main behavioral description)
  • A Creativity level (how flexible or imaginative the AI can be)
  • Optional tags and descriptions for better organization

You can reuse Personas across multiple Agents, ensuring brand consistency while allowing easy personality adjustments per use case.

Think of Personas as AI templates for communication style — reusable across Agents, Channels, or Campaigns.

How to Create a Persona

Navigate to Library → Personas

Click Create New Persona

You can manually create a Persona or auto-generate one instantly when you build your Agent using the Quick Agent Setup. It automatically suggests tone, expertise, and language style based on your business type and industry.

You’ll see a form with key fields:

1. Persona Name

Choose a name that reflects your Persona’s name.

Example:

“Amy - Friendly Sales Advisor”

“John - Tech Support Specialist”

Tip: Use clear, contextual names so teammates can easily identify them later.

2. Description

Provide a short summary (up to 150 characters) describing the Persona’s role.

Example:

“Speaks like a helpful assistant who guides users through product choices without being too pushy.”

3. Version

MagicBlocks automatically creates and timestamps each version, so you can update and track Persona changes over time.

Useful for A/B testing personality adjustments without losing older versions.

4. Creativity Slider

This is how much creativity you'd like the AI model to use when responding to messages. The higher the scale, the more thoughtfulness and variance it'll have in its answers.

5. Tags

Use tags to categorize Personas — e.g. “support,” “sales,” “marketing,” or “education.”
This makes it easier to filter and reuse Personas across large teams or multiple workspaces.

6. Persona Prompt (Core Behavior)

This is the heart of your Persona — it tells the AI how to think and speak.
Write in natural language, describing tone, attitude, and style.

(e.g., “…your goal is to help clients optimize campaigns and increase ROI…”)
  • Tone and Style: How should it sound?
    (Friendly, authoritative, humorous, empathetic, etc.)
  • Key Phrases or Brand Language: Words or expressions that define your brand voice.
  • Engagement Goal: What should the AI ultimately drive toward?
    (Conversions, trust, education, or retention)

It will appear in your Persona Library, ready to be linked to any AI Agent.

Assigning a Persona to an Agent

To apply a Persona to your Agent:

Go to Agents → [Your Agent] → Personality tab

Click Select Persona

Choose your saved Persona from the list

Your Agent will now adopt this Persona’s tone and communication style during every conversation.

  • Test variations to see which tone resonates most with users.
